It feels great going back-to-back. A lot of people counted us out because we had a little controversy or whatever. But every team has its own controversy. It's just that our team's was public. We really wanted to prove to everybody that we were here to win state.

We never lost confidence even though everybody else did. Actually, I even think it may have helped us as a team, what we had to go through, because it made us stronger as a team. The true leaders stepped up. I hate to say it, but it might have helped us.

We haven't had very many road tests, and that's starting to catch up with us a little bit.

We have a lot of big dudes, and that's different. We got a lot of big guards. We're able to do things now that we weren't able to do last year. We're more of a well-rounded team. Last year, Will and Nate didn't post up. Now we have four players in the starting lineup that (post up) and just one that doesn't do that -- Justin.

I was taking top-of-the-key shots because I was wide open and he wasn't guarding me. People underestimate our ability. We have a lot of people that can make plays. I can make plays. Bobby can make plays. Mike can make plays. They even left Appleby open.

Last year, we kind of got lulled to sleep. We didn't play until Sunday, and we sat around for two days.
bring gets head late mad morale needs season team
I can't get mad about things. It's too late in the season to get mad. The team needs me to be successful. So if I get mad about that and if I pout about my situation, I'll bring the team morale down and everything just gets worse. So I've just got to keep my head up.
