I was not going to go just anywhere. The stability of the program appealed to me. Dan is the dean of the Big 12 coaches and has done a great job retaining his coaching staff despite all the success ISU has experienced.

Right now it's up to us to maintain our level of play and stay in first place. Winning these two games this week gives us a lot more confidence because these are teams that people outside our program don't expect us to beat.

On one hand it makes it even more special to accomplish something like this competing against your mentor and somebody who laid the foundation for such a great program at Cal State-Fullerton, ... But my heart goes out to him and his club because they are 180 degrees in the opposite of what me and my players are feeling.

It's tough to put it into words, but I know we battled, we battled as a team. The one thing I do know is that despite losing tonight, after everything we've been through as a program, no matter what people say and no matter what people do, this program is going to continue to move forward. I feel that in my heart.

We just got lucky in here a couple of times. We worked hard, we battled and we got points.

We weren't strong enough, and they made savvy plays. Vincent is a great player, and the defense of their whole team was great.

It was the tale of two halves. We couldn't get anything going in the first half, but the defense played well and in the second half, we were able to move the ball down the field, but we couldn't find a way to stop them.
