It feels like we got the monkey off our backs. We had been losing so many close games, but we finally pulled one through.

It was the tale of two halves. We couldn't get anything going in the first half, but the defense played well and in the second half, we were able to move the ball down the field, but we couldn't find a way to stop them.

It was tough to practice the day after we found out that we didn't make it the NCAA Tournament. But as we practiced and practiced, though, guys' spirits got up and we were just happy to be able to wear this jersey again and to be able to compete.
