I think from the point where Jason was 1-4 to this point, I've never seen anybody Mark Prior, Jered Weaver, you name it have the numbers he has, ... They are mind-boggling. The only thing I was worried about was whether we would go to the well too many times with a thin pitching staff and wear him down.

I don't think anybody in the country has had to face the adversity we've faced. Coming here as freshmen, going through the sanctions and the injuries and everything. People have said things we've done good as well. But we've faced more adversity than anybody in the country and to still be standing here able to play for a championship at the end says a lot about who we are as people.

This is the first time ever we've had anybody jumping in. In Idaho, we're braver than they are over in Spokane.

Can't be sure. Players are human. It's got to bother you, just like it would bother anybody else. We just try to address it early so it won't be a distraction.

It was the tale of two halves. We couldn't get anything going in the first half, but the defense played well and in the second half, we were able to move the ball down the field, but we couldn't find a way to stop them.
