easy gone hit maybe miami missed relatively shots
I've never gone 3-for-10 and it's a little frustrating because the shots I missed were relatively easy ones. Maybe I got hit by the Miami sun.
ability judge nba player relation stand
I would like to see where I stand as a player and realistically judge my ability in relation to the NBA draft.
gone last luck lucky pull shot team
I think our luck has changed. Last year, that shot would have gone in at the end - that's the kind of luck we had. I think this is a new team with new goals. We were just lucky to pull it off.
ahead behind catch free gave lead rebounds
We gave up some rebounds at the end, we didn't make free throws, and it just got away from us. What makes it more disappointing is we were ahead. The other games, we were behind and had to catch up and then we'd lose. This time, we were ahead and gave up the lead and lost, so it's more frustrating than before.
beat best conference home huge knew momentum season supposedly team
We knew that Xavier is the best team in the conference or supposedly the best team in the conference. So to beat them on their home floor, it should be huge momentum for this season to try to get something going.
exactly hard last life past seven usual
That's seven for 20 the past two games. That's not exactly my usual thing. The defenses have clamped down on me so hard the last two games, it's made my life more difficult. I'm just going to play through it and keep shooting.
against beat cost definitely games lower teams
It's definitely disappointing. These games against teams lower in the standings, we need to beat them. That's what cost us today.
carry high hopefully ourselves
It's a little surreal, I guess. I like it. We have high expectations for ourselves and hopefully we can carry through.
against best gives good keeps months player practiced summer top
We practiced for two months over the summer every day, and we had games. It keeps you in shape. You play against top competition, probably the best in the world. That gives you an idea of how good of a player you are.
biggest definitely win
This is definitely our biggest win of the season.
against confidence continue game games good needed team temple win
This game is good for the confidence for us as a team and me as an individual. We needed to get a win on the road. Now we have two games at home, against Temple and Rhode Island, if we want to continue to try and do something special.
ability available believe best career continue dream family judge lifelong nba open option player process pursue relation saint season solid stand time utilize
After a solid season this year, I would like to see where I stand as a player and realistically judge my ability in relation to the NBA draft. It has been my lifelong dream to pursue an NBA career. My family and I believe now is the best time to utilize the process that is available to us and keep my option open to continue my career at Saint Louis.
ball emphasis good missed shots
There was an emphasis to get me the ball as much as possible. But they have really good defenders. I missed shots I should have made.
