Im pleased to say that in telling them, and especially my parents, they told me that they love me and they support me. And for young people out there, know that thats usually what the answer is.
I knew Pieter would go out quick and I just wanted to stay with him. It was a great result.
I'm looking forward to actually racing again. It's been such a long time since I've raced now, but I do look forward to my life after swimming as well.
After that, it was then that I wanted to be back and competing,
I'm getting better and it's actually the best I've felt in a while. I think the antibiotics are starting to work.

Training in that cold pool of a morning really tests you, whether you really want to do it or not,
Nowhere near as sluggish for a morning swim this morning, so I was comfortable and hopefully it'll be a bit faster tonight.
It was tough but I was able to produce a pretty good performance and I'm ecstatic about the result.
I don't know which events are really going to be right for me at the moment. I've got to work that out and I'm not going to rush it.
