game played poor saved time win
Poor guy, every time he plays, he's in a shootout. He played real well and saved the game at the end. I feel for him. He doesn't play that much and we can't find a way to win for him. You want to get two points, but we'll take the one.
boot camp games good played time
At least we've made it fun. We've played some games out there, so it's nothing like boot camp or anything like that. It's more like it's been good to get in shape, but at the same time you can make it fun, and that's what they've been doing. It's getting old right now. We want to get back at it and play.
advantage bad couple played power three tonight took
They played well, they took advantage of the power play and they had a couple bounces going their way. That's the playoffs. We had that in the first three games. I don't think they played bad in the first three games, we just had the bounces going our way, and tonight was their way.
against chances game great kept patient played pressure putting saves sit team
We played a pretty patient game against a team like that, and we give them two chances and they put it in. We didn't sit back. Turco made great saves. It could have been 4-0 at one point. He made saves here and there. We kept putting pressure on them.
eddie great guys mature played playoff rebound shadow tough
He's always been a great goalie. It's just that he played in the shadow of Eddie Belfour when he was in Dallas. I know guys that have had tough times in the playoffs. They like to rebound and show the world they are playoff players. He is a more mature goalie now.
deserve talking
I'm not talking about him. That's what he wants, and he doesn't deserve it.
carry intensity points stupid
The intensity is going to carry over (tonight), but points are way too important to do something stupid out there.
building desperate win
They were a little more desperate than us tonight. But it's the playoffs. You just can't give them any life, so we have to go into their building and win there.
forward great guy guys joining opens playing tight
Especially in the playoffs, it's so tight as a forward you always have a guy on you. When you got the 'D' joining the rush, it kind of opens up things. All those guys have been playing great offensively.
best bring everybody pressure shoulders
There's pressure. Hopefully, it's going to bring out the best in everybody here, the pressure that we have on our shoulders right now.
feeling great home montreal native playing score
We got a little turnover. Richardson is playing really well for us. It was a great feeling to score here. I'm a Montreal native and everyone at home was watching.
against eight games good happened people
That's what they want with eight games against the same team. That's what they got out of us, a good rivalry, it's good for the game. People like fighting, it just happened to be me tonight.
came expect lead sit win
You can't just sit on a lead and expect to win those games. That's what we did, and they came at us pretty hard. We got at least one point, but that's not what we came here for.
celebrate good team time
It's a good team win, but not too much time to celebrate that. We're going to Calgary and get right back at it.
