I am a progressive who gets things done. And the root of that word, progressive, is progress.
I'm a progressive who likes to get things done.
When I got to the Senate, I started working with Republicans. I think I practically worked with every single one of them, and a lot of them were on record talking about what a good colleague I am and how I like to get things done.
I have directed all my e-mails on clintonemail.com in my custody that were or potentially were federal records be provided to the Department of State and on information and belief, this has been done.
We know what Donald Trump has said and what he's done to women. But he also went after a disabled reporter, mocked and mimicked him on national television.
I'm just grateful my dad never got a contract with Donald Trump, because I don't know what we would have done.
Today, there's more that can and should be done that really has to come from the industry itself, and how we can strengthen our economy, create more jobs at a time where that's increasingly challenging, to get back to Teddy Roosevelt's square deal. And I really believe that America and all of you are up to that job.
[Independent experts] have looked at my plans and they've said, OK, if we can do this, and I intend to get it done, we will have 10 million more new jobs, because we will be making investments where we can grow the economy.
My view is that, you know, life unfolds at its own rhythm. You know, I have never lived a life that I thought I could plan out. And I'm just trying to do the best I can every day. I find I have a lot to get done between the time I get up and the time I go to bed.
I learned some valuable lessons about the legislative process, the importance of bipartisan cooperation and the wisdom of taking small steps to get a big job done.
Tunnels, our ports, our airports - they need work. And there are millions of jobs to be done.
As president, I will take that work, that bipartisan work, that finding common ground, because you have to be able to get along with people to get things done in Washington.
I know Donald's [Trump] very praiseworthy of Vladimir Putin, but Putin is playing a really tough, long game here. And one of the things he's done is to let loose cyber attackers to hack into government files, to hack into personal files, hack into the Democratic National Committee. And we recently have learned that, you know, that this is one of their preferred methods of trying to wreak havoc and collect information.
There is a sense that things, if you keep positive and optimistic about what can be done, do work out.
