You ever play beach soccer? ... That's what it felt like. I don't think there was one player on both teams who didn't come out dog-tired from that field. Legs were heavy. The players on the field were cramping.

It definitely made me take a step back. It humbled me and showed me how much more I needed to improve or mentally maybe I wasn't there. I sharpened up my game. I was really young and I'm still growing mentally and still learning.

Great shot - although I don't think De Rosario even knew where he was hitting it, ... He just struck it and what a goal. It's going to take the life out of any team. But we have to respond better. We can't just expect things to get better because we're playing in the Home Depot Center.

I thought we started off great, but goals will do that. They'll help your team or they'll crush it, and today it crushed us. Dempsey scored and took the wind out of our sails. It was almost like we were stuck in second gear and they were running on all cylinders.

They're weak on the counter attack. They don't defend well when players are going at them. That's what we have to do -- set the precedent and take it to them.
