add baseman excellent excited fact greatly improved john last player positions third valuable
John is an excellent third baseman and the fact that he can play many positions makes him a valuable player for us. We are very excited to add John to an infield which has greatly improved from last season.
hopefully league major opportunity
But it's not about the money. It's getting the opportunity to play in a very competitive league and hopefully getting back to a major league organization. And that's my priority.
guys miss people pick saying tough
It's tough when you don't have the people in place right now. I'm not saying the other guys can't pick it up, but you miss those guys.
adding capable chance delighted games gives innings last league pitcher pitchers pitching quality rotation starting team top win winning
We are delighted to have our top starting pitcher back from last year. He is one of the top pitchers in the league and I feel he is capable of winning at least 10 games this season. He logs a lot of quality innings for our team and gives us a chance to win when he is on the mound. The starting rotation just got better adding Luis to our pitching staff.
admired chad coming forward great hitter league looking major moving natural offense plays position second top
It is great to have the top hitter in the league coming back. He will be a major part of our offense this year. I have always admired the way he plays the game. Chad will be moving back to his natural position this year, second base, and I am looking forward to working with him.
arm experience good hard joe kyle pitcher player solid
Kyle has a very good arm and will be a solid pitcher for us this season. Joe is a hard working player I think will be even better with more experience under his belt.
great job reading released soon steal sullivan took
Jorge did a great job of reading it. He took off as soon as Sullivan released the ball. That's what you have to do when you steal home, you have to go on the release of the catcher.
ball gave good
P.J. gave us everything we really needed. He pitched a good ball game.
bat capable excited fit kyle nicely outfield season signed
The kind of season Kyle had in 2003 indicates what he is capable of on the field. He should fit in nicely in the outfield (J.D. Foust was signed earlier), but I'm also excited to see what another big bat can do for our lineup.
