Fifteen years ago, the negative was huge. They talked about organized crime. They talked about how gambling would attract prostitution. It would bring in the wrong kinds of tourists. Now it is better than 2-to-1 on the positive side.

At first, I had to talk my wife into having this at the farm. I think now everybody looks forward to it. We're a lot more relaxed now about the festival. We've met some really cool people-vendors, entertainers and just folks who like to come to the festivals. A lot of people have been here since the beginning. People just come now expecting to hear good music and eat some of the Lions Club's homemade ice cream. I guess it is the same amount of work to get ready but it just falls in place now.

I talked to him on the sideline and I kind of got a sense that this might be his last game. As much as I think he'd like to come back, I think he realizes there is not a whole lot left in the tank after 13,000 yards. It's tough for me to think about going through this whole thing again. That's why you have to take some time. You take a month or two and evaluate as soon as the emotion is out of the way.

In a lot of our presentations, we don't talk much about religion because it is such a broad topic. Some LGBT people embrace a religion, but others walk away. We want to examine the range of religious perspectives on LGBT issues, particularly on Christian perspectives.

We just made history. This team just keeps going for more. We didn't play all that great but we still found a way. That's the way we've been all year, just keep finding a way.

When all factors were weighed, it was collectively decided that playing next year's game versus Miami on Labor Day night was in the best interest of all parties concerned. Miami never had the opportunity to host the game on that day and the viewership and exposure for the ACC and both universities from our game 10 days ago was exceptional.
