People come here to simply try and do well at whatever level they are capable of doing. It helps the younger kids get older and wiser. It helps the older guys feel younger.

There's just a lot of snow up there in the mountains right now, which I'm sure the farmers are happy to hear - the farmers and the salmon.
embraced maybe minority
Maybe because snowboarding used to be a minority sport, it embraced all kinds.

The good news is we're expecting better weather Sunday. The wind is supposed to be light, there's supposed to be 10 to 18 inches of new powder and it possibly its going to clear. It will be business as usual for us on Sunday.

It's unlikely there will be any postponements. The weather has been all over the map this week, so we're going to play it day-by-day.

It's got a real nice flow to it. It will be a true bobsled course.

It was a very interesting study in sociology, the integration of snowboarding on the mountain. It's amazing people were actually discriminated against because of what they were wearing on their feet.

It was a wild weather year. The big thing this season was extremes.

They called us up and were apologetic and said they wished they could come. I told them they better bring back the gold.
area embrace ski social
It's important that all communities embrace all cultures. It's just part of our social makeup, and the ski area is no different than that.

We hope to reopen Sunday if there is an expected cooling trend.
