beat coming kids opponents three whether
Right now, we've got three big-time opponents coming up and I think our kids are going to play well. Whether we can beat them or not, we will find out but ... we've just got to go play.
break care core hurt kid taken
I think he's taken care of his core issues. A kid like him is so active, I don't think the break will hurt him.
coaches great happy kids players
It's a great win. We're happy to be 2-0. But I don't want our kids to think that we as coaches or them as players can be satisfied. We just have to play with a sense of urgency.
believe bigger crowds distract good handling job kids leads lines maybe outside past preach stadiums start stuff tried white
We've tried to preach to our kids that everything outside the white lines is not very important. They've done a good job of tuning all that stuff out, which leads me to believe that maybe we can start handling the noisier crowds and the bigger stadiums and the pageantry, where in the past we let that kind of stuff kind of distract us.
believed coaches definitely door kick kids knocking next sell step turned
When you're recruiting, you sell everything you have and that definitely was a part of it. Our kids believed the coaches when we told them we are about to get it turned around. We're knocking on the door and our next step is that we need you to kick it down. A lot of kids want to be a part of that.
continue four next three year
We have to continue next year to find three or four more.
fall hope past wheels win
It would set us up, but if we don't win this one, I don't think the wheels will fall off. I hope we're past that.
drives needed seemed
There's probably two drives we'd like to have back. Other than that, when we needed a play, we seemed to come up with it.
ask games good handle learn opponent prime quality riding stuff talked time tv
We have to learn to play in games like that, with a good quality opponent and a lot riding on it, good prime time TV and stuff like that. That's what they ask for and that's what we talked about all week. This is why you come, for a game like this, and you've got to handle that atmosphere.
athletic competition create good job men somewhere spot win
That will create some good competition at that spot and all those young men know if they don't win that job that they'll play somewhere else. All are athletic enough to play a lot of different spots.
anyone best football played
I don't think anyone has played their best football yet. We all have things we can get better at.
buy check days football four investing last message rooms since starting supposed team time weight workouts
Since the end of last season, the whole team has really started to buy into the whole message of doing things the right way. I haven't had any off-the-field problems. I haven't had to check rooms at night. They've been doing conditioning workouts at 6 a.m. four days a week. You can tell they've been investing some time in the weight room. We are starting to look like a football team is supposed to.
league talk turning
We're not in that league yet. No more talk about turning the corner.
believe clear continue enhance football lee moving offensive ratio seek style vision
We will continue to seek a 60-40 pass-to-run ratio moving forward. I believe Lee can take what we are doing and enhance it. Lee and I have a clear vision of the style of offensive football we want to play.
