It was all over the place, the highs and lows; it never really was what you'd thought it would be. But it would have had to have been almost a perfect season to be anything other than a letdown.

It's much harder to repeat than to win one last year. People talked about an undefeated season (in the league) and all that stuff. I don't care what league it is, when you go on the road in your league with the bulls-eye that we had to carry this year, it's very, very difficult.

It's great to talk about that and write about it, and it's a legitimate thought. But our guys went in last year and none of 'em had played in the NCAA tournament, and I thought they played incredibly well.

We were disappointed in our seed, but the bottom line is we lost a couple games in our league, and we're not supposed to do that. Had we gone undefeated in our conference, maybe our seed would've been much better, but that's very difficult to do and somewhat unrealistic.
