ball care coaching good inside job nice protecting rid system taking throw time
Omar does a nice job taking care of the football. We do a good job coaching that ... stressing getting rid of the ball on time and protecting our quarterback. We do a nice job with him inside the system and don't throw a lot of high-risk plays.
capable players stepping
We have capable players that are stepping up.
last needed
That was the last thing I needed to hear.
establish field kept offense sustain
We could never establish any momentum. Their offense kept us off the field for long stretches and we were never able to sustain anything.
couple moved nice poised rattled
Omar was poised in there, didn't get rattled and made some nice throws. His receivers bailed him out a couple of times. But he moved the club.
arm camp cannon excellent fits football found offered summer
Sheehan we found in camp in June, we offered in the summer and he committed. Excellent QB, big range, mobile, cannon for an arm and fits our system.
best continue defensive dividing game interest offensive players playing team
We just feel we're so young that dividing the team up and playing a game wouldn't be in our best interest right now. We need our defensive players to continue to get reps as units and our offensive players to continue to get reps as units.
best dividing game interest playing team
We just feel, we're so young that dividing the team up and playing a game would not be in our best interest right now.
chance dream wish
That is awesome. He's going to get his chance to live his dream and we wish him nothing but the best.
grind hard performance road stellar tough win
It wasn't a stellar performance by any stretch, but you know what, it's tough to win on the road in this league. We're in the grind mode. We're working hard to get victories.
dominated
They completely dominated us. We were out-coached and outplayed. We had no answers.
trying
We didn't think about any issues. We were just trying to find a way to make first downs.
good trying
When we were working through some of the issues, I was just trying to make a first down. But it's become a very good system.
appreciate coach decision desire efforts helping love respect support tradition winning
We respect Omar's decision and we support him. Any coach would love to have an Omar Jacobs for another year, but we know his desire is to play professionally. We really appreciate his efforts in helping us re-establish a winning tradition at BGSU.
