Greg Walker
biggest defensive pay watch
I'm his biggest fan. I'm not a defensive guy, but I would pay to watch him play defense.
almost ball brilliant flipped until waited
It was almost brilliant that he waited until they flipped the ball back,
sticks
The thing that sticks out to me about him, he's our kind of player. He's a grinder.
bears player
I was here when the Bears won, I know how big they were. Every player had his own restaurant.
ball common common-sense field looking overly strike swing tendency
Right field is important, but what we're looking for is common sense. Swing at the ball in the strike zone. His tendency is to be overly aggressive. We think we can throttle him back.
fans rebel somebody
Somebody has to be mainstream, to give something for those fans to rebel against.
bat book careful joe league pitchers sure swung teams tease
We tease Joe all the time. We tell him, 'You've got the league set up now.' But teams can't get him out going by the book anymore. If Joe swung the bat like this all year, I'm sure some pitchers would be a little more careful with him than they've been in the postseason.
bunch doubt watch
We're not perfect, but this is such a gutsy bunch of guys. If you ever doubt or second-guess them ... watch out.
OK, I won't own a restaurant, but I'll go to everyone else's.
reminded
It wasn't so much what we told him. We just reminded him of some things that he had done in the past.
brand indiana office opponent time took trade year
It was brand new the year my opponent first took office in the Indiana Statehouse. I think it is time to trade it in.
ate brought came cigars drank glass kids smoked stayed supposed until waiting watch wife wine
They came over for one glass of wine and stayed until midnight. They drank all my wine, smoked all my cigars and ate all my food. We were all supposed to go out to eat, but I'm still waiting to go. They brought their kids over and made my wife watch them.
people ready says
It just says that people are ready for a change.
close crazy games key lost played surprises won
We have played so many close games this year. We lost some on crazy things and won some on crazy things. I think the key to it is we've been in so many, that nothing surprises us anymore.
