It is very early to tell. There are three teams out there. It is very choppy hockey. It is tough to really judge a lot of what is going on out there.

The information relayed was disturbing to the African American community. These are threats we heard in the early 1960s. For them to be swept under the rug would be an insult to the black community and the state Department of Education.

What's very disturbing to me, is that there were administrators who were around who heard everything that happened in the hallway and they were not asked to give statements. Then this young lady disappeared for an hour and a half and returned to school. The police were called and she was not found. When the police left, she turned up. I'm very disturbed by that.

What's unique about suggesting that grasshoppers are carriers is they are herbivores. They don't feed on blood.

We went to sites Monday and Tuesday and we didn't find any biting flies. Is it odd? We don't know. We don't know the particular cycle of the flies in these areas.
