I was in the mood where it should have been a long walk off a short pier, but I actually went for a long walk on a long road.

There are people in charge to adjudicate the game. I suppose from the start of the game I was quite bamboozled, all the way through it to be honest.
best far foundation performance tonight
Tonight was far and away our best performance (of the pre-season and season) and we'd like to use that as a foundation for the future.

It probably wasn't picture perfect, but we didn't want it to be, so we wanted to be accountable and if you're accountable, you don't get many spare players, but we were pretty happy with most parts of it.

You'd like to get Fergus in early in the year and he may even play this week against Collingwood - we'll wait and see - but he's the sort of player that's just crying out for an opportunity and I think we can find one for him.

To have a really good, close, tight contest like that is invaluable and if you could orchestrate it, that's the sort of game you'd orchestrate I reckon - a good hard tussle for the whole game and then to think it's over and then having to go again - that's priceless.

He's just got to prove to training services that he's fit and available. We're really confident that he will be and he's really confident that he will be. We'll know by the end of training.
