We're being way too soft in big situations. It's a matter of being consistent and the freshmen and sophomores need to grow up. They need to understand what it takes to win.

They are all good people and a joy to be around. But right now they're just not tough enough.

The thing you need to take into consideration and that you hear coaches talk about all the time is the fact that you need to perform for the entire match. I thought at times we played well and other moments we had breakdowns that cost us.

I was really happy with our performance from start to finish. Our assistant coach Karina LeBlanc said it best when she said we played like a Top-10 team tonight.

I think other than not scoring, the team did everything they were asked to do. They played very well together, but giving up a set piece goal and not being able to get one of our own is obviously frustrating.

Meg was very positive and I think a little anxious. She's very hard on herself and always wants to play but she got her opportunity last year.

We're too good for what's happening to us right now. If you look at our losses, we haven't been there for a full 90 minutes at all. We were there against Loyola, and look what happened.

It's a matter of individuals getting prepared to play. You wonder why we have to raise our voices in the locker room in order to get people to perform.

We are looking at this as a springboard into the Big East. I'm disappointed and obviously we're not happy with the outcome, but we're going to use this to get better, and I feel that we have. I am encouraged by our direction.

A lot of our opportunities were good, and then we hit the ball right at the keeper. That's something we'll need to improve on. We didn't mark up in some dangerous areas and it ended up costing us.
