We start off the season playing man-to-man. That?s our main defense. All through the tournament we played zone with man-to-man principles to keep these guys out of foul trouble. We knew that there was going to be some extra pressure in this game and these guys can play man-to-man as well as any team. Those last three possessions, these guys wanted it.

At halftime, I told the kids that you might get this chance once in your lifetime. It was truly a privilege to be here and play a classy team like Putnam. Our kids stepped it up under adverse conditions.
