I think there were some real positives to take away from this. For the most part our guys competed well.

He's an experienced guy that worked with our defensive coordinator (Mike Church) last season. We are confident he can jump in and get the job done.

I'm encouraged the way the guys are working. They're getting better. They want to prove they can match the effort in consecutive weeks.

The guy couldn't have been more wide open. But this was a total team loss. I don't think we competed like we've competed all year prior to this.

San Jose was giving us trouble with their press coverage. Our receivers couldn't get off the line and get open, so you can't blame that on the quarterback.

To complete a pass was a minor miracle for us. The offense is anemic right now. That's the only way to describe it.

Let's face it, it was a struggle. When we lost our first three games, we began to wonder if we were going to win. I believe we've turned the corner.
