Like I told them in the locker room, I'm getting tired of telling them that. We lost our game at Syracuse where we played hard, were right there with a chance to win, and we didn't win it. We need to find a way to get over that hump. And that's the whole ballgame right there.

It hurts because this was a game you gotta win and we didn't. But we got Louisville coming in and they got the same (Big East) record as we got. They're fighting for their lives so they're coming in ready to play.

We had a plan to get to the Final Four and we came pretty close. We should win 17, 18 this year and there is no doubt in my mind Rutgers should be in the NCAA Tournament next season.

We were playing three games in five days. These guys played their heart out, especially in the first half. I don't feel bad. I thought our kids did the best job they could.

Quincy went 5-for-20 and they forced that 5-for-20. Many times, he got mid-range shots but he had a tough time lofting it over their heads. Their goal was to take Quincy, make Quincy not beat them. Make the other guys beat them. And our other guys couldn't hit the shots today.

Quincy wanted to be there (in the Big East Tournament). In Quincy's eyes there definitely would've been something wrong (if he didn't) go to Madison Square Garden. I thought it was an incentive to him.

Quincy is a loyal person and that's what people don't realize. That's why he's been with Jack so long. The thing Quincy knows is he still has a lot to learn and he wants to graduate. If someone is going to offer him millions upon millions, I have to be honest. I'll give him the best advice of what his future will be if he makes that decision (but) we'll wait because I don't want him to worry about this now.

Quincy called one and I told them we only had one and told them we needed one at the end. But those things happen I understand and we had no timeouts. I even told our guys if we had a time-out we would have won this game.
