I told these guys now they belong. Now we're going to go on the road and get our first Big East (road) victory. We're going to be in the Big East Tournament. I gave them things to feel good about themselves because they deserved it. They played hard.
adrian best defenders good inside rest
It's a good possibility we won't have Adrian the rest of the season. It hurts, obviously, because in my estimation he's one of our best defenders and he's an inside presence.

We set up a good shot for him, he just didn't have any legs. The ball hit the rim and I just think the boy was tired.

Wednesday will tell the tale. Over the weekend, some good things happened in our behalf that got us a step closer today. But we can end all this speculation by going to St. John's and winning.

I honestly think we set up a good shot for him with that three-pointer, when it was a three-point game, and I just think he didn't have any legs. The boy was tired, he was literally tired.

We just got beat by a better team. When they go bad, they can always go in to Gray and you have to guard him. Most teams will double him, and that leaves someone else open. That makes them tough to beat.
best five games guys heart job kids played playing three
We were playing three games in five days. These guys played their heart out, especially in the first half. I don't feel bad. I thought our kids did the best job they could.

We lost a game the other day because we couldn't focus. There was too much other (stuff) going around out there. This time they could relax and just play basketball and not worry about things.

The stay here was good. We cleaned up the program. I want to move on. I have no hard feelings. I forgive but never forget.

Quincy went 5-for-20 and they forced that 5-for-20. Many times, he got mid-range shots but he had a tough time lofting it over their heads. Their goal was to take Quincy, make Quincy not beat them. Make the other guys beat them. And our other guys couldn't hit the shots today.

Quincy was fabulous in the first half. He kept us in there.

Quincy wanted to be there (in the Big East Tournament). In Quincy's eyes there definitely would've been something wrong (if he didn't) go to Madison Square Garden. I thought it was an incentive to him.
