capable run
Now, we just have to run the table. And we're capable of doing that.
drive forget guy next runner scoring takes whatever year
We're stressing more this year to forget about numbers, just go out and do whatever it takes to win. If you have to get a guy over, get him over. Whatever you can do to get the runner into scoring position, then let the next guy drive him in.
front home leg runs transfer weight
Not even close, ... Once I can transfer my weight to my front leg and just do it with a lot of force, and I don't even think about it, the home runs will come.
attendance blind came home knew meant money owners run runs spike sudden turned understood
When McGwire started the home run mania, attendance came back. The owners understood that the sudden spike in homers wasn't accidental. All baseball knew it. But baseball is run on money, and home runs meant money. Baseball turned a blind eye.
rabbits run scoring series time watching worn
Every time you look up, they're scoring a run. They do all the little things. After a series with them, you're all worn out from watching those rabbits run around the bases.
family money point spent tried
I've tried (to help). I've put him in rehab. I've spent a lot of money to do that. I've been there for him. But it comes to a point where you've just got to let him go through what he's got to go through. The family has tried everything.
against allowed reality
I've really never got comfortable. I'm not comfortable. I'm not allowed to be comfortable. That's the reality of my situation. I always have to play with my back against the wall.
anyone care
I've never had an organization come to me and say, 'Eventually, we're going to take care of you. I've never had anyone say, 'I'm going to take care of you.' Why shouldn't I be happy? That's a first for me in 17 years.
trust
Even if it's on paper, it's still in my hands. Trust me on that. I know how to get out of anything I want to get out of. Trust me.
everybody good guys knows pitching stops
Everybody knows good pitching stops good hitting. Our guys are pitching great.
basically believe comment somebody tells version
Do you believe everything somebody tells you? Basically you want me to comment on it. My version, I don't have one. What version do I need to have for you all to be satisfied?
certain expect hopefully overcome situation sure
You got to do the right thing, you've got to live a certain way and do the right things that's required. If you're not doing it, you can't expect to be working for somebody. So they did what they had to do, and his situation I'm sure got to him and hopefully he can overcome it.
quicker
That would be devastating to me. I should be able to come back quicker than if it was a hamstring. I'm going to get the anti-inflammatories and see how I feel tomorrow.
dealing found
That's the kind of person I found out I was dealing with, ... To me, I don't want friends like that. I never will have friends like that.
