We played them real early in the season, but we know they are a scrappy team. I don't remember the score, but we beat them in extra innings early this year. We were able to get a few early runs and get some things going.

We've played well at the end of the season. We're glad to be home, but we've normally had success as the No. 2 or No. 3 seed. We've played better on the road in the past.

They want 500 guys back out of 4,400, and they want us to work with the scabs. I don't think that's fair. We should only go back if the scabs leave.
affected donations federal giving government ideology organized people poor response seem today
There are a lot of Americans giving donations right now, which is great, but it will take an organized response from the federal government to do real long-term good. I don't know if our government today has the ideology to do such a thing. This government doesn't seem to be very sympathetic to poor people right now. And the poor are the ones most severely affected by this disaster.

He was a little off because he hadn't pitched in about 12 or 14 days. I think it showed, but he battled. That's what he's about. He goes out hard and pitches hard. That's what he is.
