We play hard all the time. We're not just a one-man team. It's not just Scottie. We're very fortunate to have one of the best players in the state of Virginia, but we've got some pretty good players around him.

That's the one thing that separates Scottie from any player that's played here and maybe any player that's played in this region. The bigger the stage, the better he's going to play.

He reads the game very well and provides excellent cover for defending teammates. Max is a very versatile player and really could be successful at all 10 field positions. However, he will likely play as a central defender, in very much the same role he currently plays for the Inferno, when he enters our program.

Any time it's Westfield-Herndon, South Lakes-Herndon, it's a little more intense. I thought our guys showed some great composure.

Teams I've had in the past couldn't generate points with defense. Like for example the last time we played South Lakes in the playoffs we were bigger, but they got a lead and spread us out. So, it was kind of nice tonight. What goes around comes around and we were able to do that to them a little bit.

Max will be a strong addition for our team this coming fall. He is a strong student and comes from a great soccer family. I look for him to make a significant contribution to our team as a freshman and to have a great career as a Bulldog.
