It was eerie, because Margaretville led 1-0 at the half in that game, and we scored two goals in the final 10 minutes, both by Lance Eldred, to win the game.

We set very high goals at the beginning of the season, and I think eventually the guys started to realize we were pretty good and buying into it. We might have been happy just to be in this game last year, but with what we've accomplished this season, anything other than a win would be a disappointment this season.

There's no question, our defense is our strong point. Philip is just solid. He makes very few mistakes.

We pummeled Poland's goalie with a number of shots in the first five minutes but didn't score. The kids played great and those ended up being the best two teams I ever had.

I don't think we'll have a true leading scorer this year. I have as many as eight kids who can score. I think that's a good thing. It keeps everyone involved and makes for good team chemistry.

Obviously, I'm not feeling real good. I didn't really prepare the kids as well as I probably should have. I thought we were ready, but obviously we weren't. I'm not going to blame the kids. The kids played hard.

Philip has proven he's the best goalkeeper in our league this season. Our entire defensive unit has played extremely well all season long.

We won't surprise anybody this year. Last year was fun. This year, there's a little more pressure, but most of it is self-imposed.
