gets happened losses reach talking win
What gets in the way sometimes is if you're talking about the expectations all the time, then you can't reach them like what happened to us two years ago when we got two losses and now we weren't going to win the Big East, we weren't going to a BCS bowl. I think that's where you've got to be careful.

We had talked about moving Duane a year from now, but as we looked at the offensive line we decided to go ahead now,

best football good great needed offensive talked team tight
I think in the long run, this is what needed to happen, ... We think this is what's best for our football team and for the player. We talked about it for some time. control football heck night talk thursday title
I think it's got the makings of a heck of a Thursday night football game. I think they're better. They talk about they're back in the title hunt, and they are. They control their own destiny.

We're getting ready to play Ohio. I don't think you talk about those. The players, that shouldn't even be an issue. I'm proud. I'm proud as heck of what people think of us and what's coming around, but I know this: In this business it's one week to the next, and if we go out there and stink it up against Ohio, (the media) will be writing about something else next week.
intended talked
I never intended for it to come out like that. We hadn't even talked to the quarterbacks ... I was going to talk with our quarterbacks, and where they were, before they read it in the paper.
athletic bucks million problem start talking
It's not a problem to me. When you start talking about 20 million bucks for your athletic department, that's pretty significant.

There's a couple circumstances ... that may change that whole thing, so we're going to wait and see. We're talking about traffic violations.
answers calmness certainly guy issue key protect respond tight
When you know who it is, you kind of want to protect him. For getting a feel for who the guy is overall, how he is going to respond to pressure, we have to let him go live. The guy who has poise, a calmness about him when things get tight . . . that certainly is a key, key issue for us right now and we need to get as many answers as we can.
good guy smart surprise
There have been some things that he would like to have back, but it doesn't surprise me that he's had a good year. He's a smart guy and understands. I think Marcus is just a player. It's in his genes.

There is absolutely nothing we can do to control that or affect that other than go play well against Maryland, ... That needs to be our approach.

I don't remember the last time I saw Jeff King drop a ball. He's a smart guy who is just solid in every area. He's a guy who you can trust to get things done right.
