decide position
It's not my decision. I don't know what they are going to do. I'm not in a position to decide that, the way I've pitched.
great guy loves
Every guy here loves Rudy. I'm not a hitter, but I love Rudy, too, because he's a great guy.
If they don't use me, I won't be surprised.
ask confident help job ninth pitch
That won't help me. I need to keep pitching, and my job is to pitch the ninth inning. I'm not going to say, 'I'm not going to move,' if they ask me. But I'm still confident I can pitch the ninth inning.
job pitching track win
I said it before, I haven't been doing the job the way they expect. We want to win and if I keep pitching like that, we're not going to win. They made the move, and I'm with them. I have to get back on track and do my job.
stress
I feel pretty good. There's no pain, just more stress from traveling.
early excited feeling hard spring
I feel pretty good, I feel excited. I wanted to go at first, but I didn't because of the way I was feeling early in Spring Training. But I have been working hard and feeling better and better, so I'm excited to be going.
good hard helped kept oscar pitching slider sorry telling using worked
I feel sorry for their families. I got to know Oscar in 2002 when he was the pitching coach. The slider I have, it was because of him. My slider was really long and he worked hard with me, kept telling me I could do a good job. He tightened it, showed me a different grip. I've been using it ever since. He helped me a lot.
baseball felt happen love shoulder
I don't want that to happen again. I'd love to play in the World Baseball Classic. The only way I wouldn't play is if I felt something in my shoulder and body.
blame booing fans heard
I heard the fans booing and I don't blame them.
competing feeling ready stronger tough
I'm feeling stronger every day, but I wouldn't have been ready to pitch. I still think it was the right decision, but it is tough not to be competing for my country.
shoulder
I'm really disappointed. My shoulder just doesn't feel right.
shoulder waiting
I'm really disappointed. I've been waiting as long as I could to make the decision, but my shoulder just doesn't feel right.
great pitcher showing sure thinking tough
I'm going through a really tough time, but I'm know that I'm a better pitcher than I'm showing right now. I'm thinking positive. I'm sure this is going to end and I'm going to have a great season.
