When it comes to how we are recognized, we're paid professionals. If I'm going to be recognized, it's going to be by my administrators. It's going to be in the form of a contract extension or a perk or something like that. A trophy doesn't really mean anything.

With Tay, I was just trying to get a feel for him. He expressed himself candidly where he thought he could improve. I told him where I saw him fitting in and what I expected of him and he was sure he could provide that.

We can't make it the rest of the season with five guys. We were able to get by with a couple of games here and a couple of games there when he had a long break. Now that we're playing twice a week, we have to be eight deep. I feel like we are. Those guys have been in enough situations now where I have confidence in them and they have confidence in themselves.

Obviously, this game was a struggle from minute one. We clearly lost the game in the first half. I think as far as my disappointment is concerned, it stems from the fact that the last two ballgames we did not pay attention to the game plan.

They came out and really shot well. We let them get a big lead, and we can't do that. Teams settle down when that happens.

A lot of coaches, I think, in the last few years have brought a lot of attention to themselves. Coaches need to coach and let the players play. The recognition needs to go to players exclusively. There are too many coaches who call attention to themselves. I'm not going to do that.
