It was a terrific game - one that was completely different than the 5-on-5 stuff. It was hard to hide somebody when there was only three people on each side of the court. Lots of one-on-one basketball and some pick-and-rolls - that's about it.

It's hard to call the games off when it's lightly snowing. It's not freezing on the streets yet.

We got some good shots. They just didn't fall. But we were playing great defense. There are going to be those nights when you don't shoot well and hope your defense can win the game for you.

She can play inside and outside. She stepped up big tonight. That's what we want our seniors to do.

Last year there were a lot of good teams in West Tennessee. This is just a really good area for high school basketball.

Out of the gate, we just weren't playing very well. But once we outscored them in the second quarter, I felt pretty good about our chances as long as we played the defense I knew we could.

We lost our point guard to a torn-up knee in the semifinal game. If we had her, we might have had a chance. Who knows?

We've got four good teams (in this region). It's a real shame that two of them have to go home. We just have to do the best we can with what we've got.

Usually, we do a good job of getting her the ball. Gwen doesn't even really know how strong she is yet. She's just beginning to really understand. We try to work it inside as much as we can.

We played well - especially in the second quarter. We just try to take what the defense will give us and our girls have done a nice job of finding the open person.
