school giving needs
Frankly, I'm not sure how far I would get if I attended public school today. It's not just that public schools aren't producing the results we want - it's that we're not giving them what they need to help students achieve at high levels. K-12 education in the United States is deeply antiquated.
giving wealth shame
One, Andrew Carnegie said, ‘He who dies with wealth dies in shame.’ And someone once said, ‘He who gives while he lives also knows where it goes.’
home giving would-be
At a time when all the other builders were selling homes with basements but without carports, we would sell homes without basements and with carports. This allowed us to provide a more appealing product at a lower price. In other words, we felt we would be giving customers greater value.

writing giving people

naturally
I'm naturally curious, and I read four newspapers a day.
In America, what you've accomplished financially is a measurement, whether you like it or not.
admit
I've got a big ego, I admit it; I'm ego-driven.

Talented, experienced leaders like these, who have stepped forward and committed to the critical task of transforming urban school systems, offer new promise to raising student achievement for every student in our urban centers. We are excited to train this new class with the skills necessary to effectively manage an urban school district.
critical
It's critical that states improve how teachers are trained, recruited, evaluated, compensated, advanced, and retained.
enriching experience
What artists think about the world is often different from how we businessmen see it, and I find that an enriching experience.
lifelong public schools strengthen union
As the son of a union activist and a lifelong Democrat, I've always thought that privatizing our public schools is not the answer. We must strengthen public schools.
changed economy economy-and-economics education engineers five free graduating india industrial information moving
The world has changed dramatically, with globalization and free trade, moving from an industrial economy to an information economy, ... But while that's been happening, K-12 education hasn't changed at all. Meanwhile, China's graduating five times as many engineers as we are, and you look at India and you get alarmed.
