We lose as a team and we win as a team,
difficult handle maria situation wind
It was very difficult to play today. I think Maria was able to handle the situation and play with the wind better.
concentration felt lead lost period second short suddenly three win
I usually play three sets. And to win the first set and lead 4-0 in the second in such a short period of time, I felt like something was wrong. I just suddenly lost my concentration and aggressiveness.
again bad change glad hard last losing match playing winners
I was glad that I could change the match around after that bad first set, ... She was playing like she had nothing to lose, which makes it hard because she really went for winners and was so aggressive. I really wanted to play her again after losing to her last week.
change changing game point winning
You can change the game around by winning an unbelievable point or by changing the rhythm,
bit deserved excuse serving win
She deserved to win this one, I was a little bit lucky, ... I have no excuse for serving like that.
advantage angry bit chance gave maybe playing second took win
Maybe I was a little bit angry in the second set, but then I know if I want to win this match, I have to be focused, not think about what she did, ... ... I didn't take advantage of the first set, that I was playing so good. ... I just gave her a chance to play better in the second set, and she took the advantage of this.
against easy happy player slow start talented tough win
I had a very slow start and it was a tough match, she's a very talented young player and it's not easy to play against her, so I was very happy that I was able to win this match.
close couple felt points question winner
I felt like it was a very close match. We know each other very well and it was just a question of a couple of points who was going to be the winner today.
single stay trying win
When you play you don't even think about the score. You're trying to win every single point. I was trying to stay focused.
both key knew match tired winning
Both of us knew that winning the first set was the key to the whole match because we were both getting tired from the week-long tournament.
against almost both challenge close decide emotional feels great match matches point three winning
It was a close match and very emotional for both of us. I have had so many matches winning 7-6 in the third, so I know how it feels to be that close and when one point can decide the whole match that we play for almost three hours. It's a great challenge for me to play against someone who is younger, who has nothing to lose, who is from Russia.
easy solid step win
Yes, I think she is, but it's not easy to win a title, ... I think that's one more step that she can do because she has a pretty solid game. She's still pretty young.
win
Usually I like to win 7-6 in the third,
