children hands matter
I love to hand sew. I sometimes make clothing for my children, which of course they grow out of in a matter of minutes. I thoroughly love it.
children people important
I'm just not one of those people who thought having biological children was that important, to me it was more about wanting to raise a child.
dog children crazy
My friends started having children after college, while I was pursuing this crazy acting career and living hand to mouth. Plus, all my boyfriends were artists struggling to make a living. Having kids didn't make any sense - why would I take on more of a financial burden when I couldn't even afford a dog?
dog children believe
I have this dog named Marley, and it is a kind of love I had never known. I have a hard time believing Marley did not come from my body. I know that sounds insane, but I feel that connected to her. She made me realize I wanted to adopt children.
mom mother children
As a single mom, I'm juggling a lot and working long hours. Yes, it costs them a little, but what my children get in return is a mother who is energized and content.
less people shot single
Not one, no, not even a single one. ... People have been shot for less on my show.
character finding wherever
It's not about finding the character any more. It's about actually being in it and going wherever she goes.
darkness forward looking seeing unemployed
I'm seeing darkness at the end of the tunnel. I'm not really looking forward to being unemployed again.
blind exactly excited knew living maybe signing
To some extent, she did. She knew who he was, and I think that was part of what excited her about him. She didn't know exactly what she was signing up for, maybe she didn't know how it would feel to be living this life. But she was not blind to what was going to be happening.
character downs finding follow imagine thrill ups
You get to follow the same character through a lot of the same ups and downs that you go through in your own life. I can't imagine any place else where you get to do that and what a thrill it is. It's not about finding the character any more. It's about actually being in it and going where ever she goes.
cast spent time
I spent a long time doing independent films, and I?d like to think I?m not getting cast because of the show, but because I?m right for the role.
I've said many times I would do this for a long time.
So we're all in denial. But we've also got a long way to go.
The Sopranos. I would never want to know.
