Elwyn Brooks "E. B." White was an American writer. He was a contributor to The New Yorker magazine and a co-author of the English language style guide The Elements of Style, which is commonly known as "Strunk & White". He also wrote books for children, including Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and The Trumpet of the Swan. It's funny how the worst of times brings on the best of times,
The previous worst hurricane season was in 2004. We raised $135 million then. With Hurricane Katrina, thanks to the incredible support of the American public, we raised $2.116 billion, and we have spent 90 percent of that. Who was ready for 600,000 people who had no place to go?
