Elwyn Brooks "E. B." White was an American writer. He was a contributor to The New Yorker magazine and a co-author of the English language style guide The Elements of Style, which is commonly known as "Strunk & White". He also wrote books for children, including Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and The Trumpet of the Swan. Charlotte's Web was voted the top children's novel in a 2012 survey of School Library Journal readers, an accomplishment repeated in earlier surveys...

People brought Poppy gifts. Bones and biscuits and toys. Everybody had a blast, including the dogs with their party hats.
My team fought hard. I don't like losing. Everybody can't win all the time.
We need citizens who may need assistance in evacuations to reach out to friends, family and neighbors, ... There will not be enough government vehicles to go and evacuate everybody in every area.
If, in fact, Christen is not playing this week, then everybody is going to have to step it up a notch and I know they'll do that. Last week we had a terrible week of practice and I think that was shown on (last Friday against Central Crossing, which hadn't scored since the second quarter of its opener and dropped to 0-4). Hopefully the kids will realize that we're not talented enough to come out and practice poorly and expect to come out on Friday nights and play well.
It's too bad. We're in an age where everybody is anti-smoking anyway. We're fighting an uphill battle to begin with.
Everybody can't win all the time. They came out and played a great game. We can't take that away.
Everybody plays on the job, even cops. But with this one, it caught up. He's going to pay for it for the rest of his life.
It was a mutual thing as to what everybody deep down wanted. A lot of times when you create a bond, you kind of do the little extra things to make things happen, or to make that other person successful.
It's harder to get open now, because everybody concentrates on me and Eric. It's harder to get open shots, so when I do get the ball, I've been forcing it and rushing it a little bit.
It's a part of the game you don't want to see. You're around people who are good guys and have put a lot of effort into it and to come out here and they're missing, it shocks you. He wasn't a bad person at all. He never did bad. Everybody liked him. He was a really nice guy and was there for everybody.
I guess the real question here is, what is the cost of bond market volatility and what is the cost of the Fed's miscommunication with the market? ... They went out and told everybody to buy bonds and then they cut their legs off.
In the matter of stepping up to our true potential, everybody wants to go to heaven and nobody wants to die. We want all the goodies without paying the price.
