filthy looks telling tough
He had pretty filthy stuff. He's telling us where it's going and it was still tough to hit. He looks like he's in midseason form.
baseball biggest goal meantime nice opening ready rehab resting shutting spring training
My goal is to play in the season, not Spring Training games. It would be nice to get out there and show them what I can do. But in the meantime I need to get myself ready for Opening Day and get out there playing, that's the biggest thing. I'm just resting right now, just doing all the rehab stuff, just kind of shutting baseball down a little bit.
fun practice second short switching
It's been fun back at short and switching off to play second every now and then. It makes practice a lot more fun.
real games play
When I play videogames I'm trying to go deep every pitch. I'm definitely not going to try to do that in real life. In the (video)game I'm trying to leave the yard.
secret trying balls
I just try to see the ball and hit it. If I get a hit, I get a hit. If I get out, I get out. There's no secret about it.
play long red
I hope to play for the Red Sox a long time.
mean swings way
Just because somebody swings one way and I swing another way doesn't mean he's better than me or I'm better than him ... Does my swing get hits? Yes.
taken thinking play
I hang in there all the time. I'm not afraid to be taken out. I think that's the biggest thing to do-just stay in there on the double play.
player blinders hopefully
I put the blinders on and just work as hard as I can, and hopefully I'll just continue to be a better player.
thinking people teammate
I don' really care what people think. I don't really have to prove anything to anybody. I just have to prove stuff to my teammates.
losing should should-i
I don't like losing at anything. Why should I?
years play dollars
I go out and break my leg next year and can't play ever again, I got 40 million dollars. Nothing's guaranteed in this world, except that 40 million dollars.
who-i-am watches ifs
I'm going to go out there and be who I am, and if you don't like it, then watch somebody else.
hard-work play yards
I just show up to the yard, work hard, and play as hard as I can.
