Defensively, you've got a lot of great players. You have some great skill guys on offense. Obviously, some areas you'd like to improve. Based on what I've seen on your tape, you're not far away. You've got as much talent as anybody else in the league, so you've got to feel good about that.

If you can come out with your head held high and still look over at the next guy next year and see he's still there, you've got something to look forward to.

He's still playing with pain. That thing hasn't completely healed ... We've got some guys that are injured and just playing on pure guts.

I've been fortunate to have been through that before, where the offense struggled and the defense had to play every snap. I've been through it, so that's where I get some of my strength from.

Every little thing is important. If you can correct the little, small things, you don't have them being escalated to the point where they become an issue.

We don't talk about the struggles of the offense or the quarterback problems and all those things. What we talk about on defense is making sure that they don't score. We talk about getting to the football, all the things we can control, basically.

Like I told them at halftime, I really did enjoy watching them play. They were having fun, flying around. I felt they were dominating the player they were playing against for the most part.

Like I tell them, as long as we control our part of the game, the rewards at the end will be big. Just go play and do what you do. At the end of the rainbow, we'll see this big pot.

Yeah, we missed him. He is a force. Everybody knows it.
consistent goals
One of the goals is to play consistent every week. We haven't accomplished that, but we've still got a chance.
