build cut cutting everybody few good job line offense offensive problem reaching running scheme shove underneath zone
The big problem with them is their offensive line and their zone scheme. They do an awfully good job with it. Everybody has a few zone scheme running plays. We do. But they build their offense on that. They get you stretched, reaching out, and then they shove you out and cut right back underneath you. They do a good job of cutting the linebackers off.
opinions votes
There are a lot of votes in this building. There are a lot of opinions.
assume gained plan player prepare scenario sudden
We always prepare for the worst. You can't assume somebody's going to be there, then all of a sudden he's not. You plan for this and for that. We'll prepare for the worst-case scenario and if it doesn't go that way, then we've gained a player or two.
along spite win
(There are quarterbacks) you win because of, ones you win along with and ones you win in spite of. If you've got one you have to win in spite of, he's usually not the quarterback very long.
deserve dominated raiders
The Raiders deserve to be world champions. They dominated us.
bench maybe opportunity priest talent wear
To have that kind of talent on the bench and not give him an opportunity to use it, and maybe wear out Priest a little more, that was the whole thing I was thinking,
backward game hit
We scaled things down as the game went on because (quarterback) Trent (Green) was getting hit back there. We went backward in what we could call.
believe learned lesson situation turn walk
Believe me, if the situation comes up again, the lesson he learned from there will be to turn around and walk away.
excellent football given good opportunity todd
Todd had an excellent practice, ... He's a good football player. He has never been given the opportunity to demonstrate what he could do.
change exactly great played practice todd
Todd had a great practice today. We would not change at all. If you look back to the preseason games, we did exactly with Todd what we did with Trent. And he played well.

hit throws
We had pass-protection problems, ... He was getting hit a lot, and that throws you off a little.
beat games offensive productive slow
We've had some very productive offensive games in Denver, ... but we've never been able to really slow them down enough to beat 'em. So we know what we have to do.
fix
We all want to fix the defense. Sometimes it's not that easy.
