assistant assistants best coaches compete football league maybe national owners paid pay supposed time
It's about time that assistant coaches got paid like that. Those owners that are complaining could pay their assistants like that, but they don't. The National Football League is supposed to be the best of the best. If you can't compete with the best of the best, maybe you shouldn't be in it.
alert aware bad best certain common fans football good hide job kansas league national players problem stay sure
I think we do ... as good as the best job in the National Football League of making sure players are aware of their vulnerability, their profile. There's no place to hide in Kansas City. ball certainly excuse football history job last league national pace panic record regardless tony year
Regardless of what excuse we want to make, we have to do a better job of getting the ball to Tony Gonzalez 's hands. He set an all-time record in the history of the National Football League with 102 catches last year and I'm certainly not going to panic because he's not at that pace right now.

bad continue fly football game home lose talent
Conversely, when you lose a football game and you fly home and look at it, it's not as bad as you thought it was. We know we aren't there yet. But we all feel we have the talent here to continue to get better.

Early in the week (Green) had a numbness develop in his calf that went down into his toe. He could play, but after the second series, because it was bothering him, we just took him out. It comes and goes.

Every time we got something going, we had penalties. You can overcome the five-yard penalties. But personal fouls and holding penalties?

We had pass-protection problems, ... He was getting hit a lot, and that throws you off a little.

Believe me, if the situation comes up again, the lesson he learned from there will be to turn around and walk away.
followed football
I've always followed it, ... At one time, I thought I was going to be a driver, not a football coach.

Sometimes they don't know what they don't know. You put yourself in a position to appease a group that doesn't know what they don't know.
great people poised priest saturday time
Some people see Priest going out there on Saturday for the first time and say, 'What's he doing?' ... He's poised to have a great season.
