ability defensive eliminate greater might nfl onto sure teams
The ability of the defensive teams to take away what you do is much greater in the NFL than in college. What you do well now, they might eliminate on Sunday. So you've got to make sure you can keep branching off onto other things.
changes defensive direction few gone money obviously players somebody spend year
Obviously we weren't getting it done going in the direction we were going. We had to make some changes and spend some money and when we went after somebody we had to get them. We've gone after defensive players before and didn't get them. This year we got a few of them.
broke defensive far football game games giving gone harder last reflection row team tribute week work york
We didn't work any harder or any different. As we said all along, that one game that we broke down last week was a tribute to the New York Giants, but that was not us when you've gone 20 games in a row without giving up a 100-yard rusher. bad continue fly football game home lose talent

bothering calf develop early second took week
Early in the week (Green) had a numbness develop in his calf that went down into his toe. He could play, but after the second series, because it was bothering him, we just took him out. It comes and goes.
holding overcome personal time
Every time we got something going, we had penalties. You can overcome the five-yard penalties. But personal fouls and holding penalties?
hit throws
We had pass-protection problems, ... He was getting hit a lot, and that throws you off a little.
believe learned lesson situation turn walk
Believe me, if the situation comes up again, the lesson he learned from there will be to turn around and walk away.
followed football
I've always followed it, ... At one time, I thought I was going to be a driver, not a football coach.
group position
Sometimes they don't know what they don't know. You put yourself in a position to appease a group that doesn't know what they don't know.
