learned saw tape
Yes, we saw the tape of the Chargers-Colts game. I don't know if we learned anything from the tape that we didn't already know. We know what we have to do.
clubs crazy guys months telling three week work worry
I've been telling the guys all week: 'You have three months to worry about all the crazy things. This is a work week. 'You have three months to go out to clubs and do those things. This is a week of work.
admit believe ben crowd front goal guy line nobody running saw talking
Ben made the play of the game. In fact, it was the play of the season. I have to admit I was talking to the crowd when Jerome fumbled. I couldn't believe it. All I saw was a guy running to the goal line with nobody in front of him.
deep great intense run steve throw
Being that I'm also from Mississippi, I've always been a big Steve McNair fan. He's such a great passer. He can really throw the deep ball. Plus, he can run with the football. He's just one of the most intense competitors you'll ever see.
plays
B-Mac made two big plays at the end.
certain confused few looking wondering
We did all right (defensively) in certain situations. And we had Manning confused at times. He was looking around, wondering what was going on. We made them punt a few times. So, that's what we have to do again.
focused game guys mindset mostly thinking wrong
We have one game left, man. And if you're not focused for that one -- The Big One -- there's something wrong with you. We have a lot of guys who this is very new to, mostly all of us. But we have this one big game left. Everything else can wait. Everything else we're thinking about is on the backburner. That's the mindset you have to take into this game.
anytime drop help rush zones
It allows our linebackers to really be a factor. It allows them to rush the quarterback and then drop back into coverage. Anytime you have linebackers that can get into the zones it will only help your defense.
bad guys maybe plays run
Those are the kind of plays that do that. Those guys get in there and make some things happen. They get the ball, get the sack, they put the quarterback on the run and maybe he makes a bad choice.
count felt fine ready
I felt fine (Wednesday), ... I actually told (trainer John) Norwig, 'Don't count me out.' I felt like I was ready to play.
great honor
What better honor to show a great teammate?
ask opportunity
We always want to be on the field. It is another opportunity for us to make a play. We had that opportunity and didn't make it. That's all you can ask for.
almost bad luck mess roll sure wear white
Well, with the roll we've been on, it's almost like it would be bad luck to not wear the white jerseys. I'm not sure we want to mess with that.
appreciate explain far feeling last looking opportunity third
This was my third AFC championship game, and to get that far and not make it twice, it really makes you appreciate the opportunity we have. Not just to get back to the AFC championship game, but to have this opportunity now, looking back at the last two times when we didn't make it, there is nothing like the feeling I have right now. You have to really appreciate it. I can't explain the feeling.
