panic start stayed wonder wondering
If I see someone else doing something I start to panic and I wonder 'what's going on? Why are they doing that? When Boris stayed out there for as long as he did, I was wondering 'what is he doing? Is there something that he doesn't know or something that we don't know?
car coming front lost sure tire took toward turn
We just lost the front end coming off Turn 4. I'm not really sure if a tire went down or what. The car just took off toward the wall.

We have some good setup notes. We had a good top-15, top-10 car last fall. Hopefully we can go back with that and improve on it.

That was my main goal. I figured I wouldn't have any help at all and all I wanted to do was gain respect from those guys for the 500. Hopefully we did that.
average finish finishing five races top
If we can just have the same average finish this year, we can make the Chase. Finishing races is so important. That's how we got that top five finish in the Busch Series. We really weren't a top-five team, but we did it by consistency. That's what we want to do this year.

We had a great run. I was kind of disappointed after practice yesterday but (crew chief) Dave Rogers made the perfect adjustments again and got us on the pole for the second straight week.

This track, I love it. I like short-track racing, road courses and flat tracks and this is a combination of all three of those.

Not at all. I went to the bottom and held my line. How they're saying I wrecked them with my right rear quarter panel, I have no idea.

It was a conflict of driving styles. It's just one of those things where I asked Mark, 'Hey, you tell me what I can learn for that not to happen again.' I was totally open to anything he had to say. He's a guy you can learn a lot from.
car coming fix front harder looks lost ready sure tire took towards turn wall
It looks like I just lost the front end coming off turn four. Not really sure if a tire went down or what. The car took off towards the wall. The more you let off the gas, the harder it slides. I got in the wall a little bit, but we're going to fix the car and get it ready for the 150's (qualifying races).
