sports long racing
I can assure you that most of the drivers have a lot of things they'd like to do, but racing keeps them from doing that. We're so restricted because of our long season. We have a one-and-a-half-month period where we get to do what we want - that's shorter than any other sport. It makes it tough, for sure.
sports running racing
I feel like I'm the most competitive driver in the motorhome lot. No matter what it is - whether we're racing, playing another sport or deciding who can run to that sign and back faster - I feel like I'm the most competitive person alive.
racing action like-you
The recent actions by Kyle Busch are not consistent with the values of M&M'S and we're very disappointed. Like you, we hold those who represent our brand to a higher standard and we have expressed our concerns directly to Joe Gibbs Racing.
amount bite bullet buy excited short
I had to bite the bullet and buy my own plane. It's a lot for me in a short amount of time, but I'm pretty excited about it.
bottom held quarter rear saying wrecked
Not at all. I went to the bottom and held my line. How they're saying I wrecked them with my right rear quarter panel, I have no idea.
asked conflict driving guy happen learn open totally
It was a conflict of driving styles. It's just one of those things where I asked Mark, 'Hey, you tell me what I can learn for that not to happen again.' I was totally open to anything he had to say. He's a guy you can learn a lot from.
car coming front lost sure tire took toward turn
We just lost the front end coming off Turn 4. I'm not really sure if a tire went down or what. The car just took off toward the wall.
again dave great perfect pole practice rogers second straight yesterday
We had a great run. I was kind of disappointed after practice yesterday but (crew chief) Dave Rogers made the perfect adjustments again and got us on the pole for the second straight week.
cup felt offered races rides
After the first 10 races in Busch, I was offered other Cup rides for this year. But I felt I didn't know what I was doing yet in Busch.
average finish finishing five races top
If we can just have the same average finish this year, we can make the Chase. Finishing races is so important. That's how we got that top five finish in the Busch Series. We really weren't a top-five team, but we did it by consistency. That's what we want to do this year.
felt stand time
I felt like it was really time for me to stand up for what I felt was right and wrong.
car coming fix front harder looks lost ready sure tire took towards turn wall
It looks like I just lost the front end coming off turn four. Not really sure if a tire went down or what. The car took off towards the wall. The more you let off the gas, the harder it slides. I got in the wall a little bit, but we're going to fix the car and get it ready for the 150's (qualifying races).
deal finish gaining kept pit proud running year
This is the way that we've been running all year long -- just haven't been able to finish the deal off. I'm so proud of my pit crew. They just kept gaining and gaining (positions on pit road).
autographs commercial definitely front input seems tells
There's definitely been a lot of input from the fans. It seems everyone who comes to get autographs tells me which commercial they like the best. It definitely makes it a little more comfortable in front of the cameras.
