We want to play with the fact that she's still in love with him, but she knows it's a disaster and he's still in love with her and isn't quite so aware of the disaster nature of it.

The show is not about his personal life, ... but you get curious about that, so we wanted to get a greater glimpse into who this guy was. It's really tricky to find someone to play opposite him, to stand up to him, somebody that you would believe this sort of character would be interested in, and would be interested in this character.

We're not closing any doors. What we've found is everybody's so fallen in love with these characters that we have to explore it, but we cannot simply throw out the essence of the show, which is the procedural element.

They may not want to consider that alternative but the people do. The letter writing and the petitions will continue.

The reruns have done better than those first few episodes did. So I'm really not that worried about it because the numbers have stayed up.

does that emotional stuff really well. She's just plays it in a simple way, in a convincing way. Without turning things into melodrama, she sucks you in and makes you want to cry for her.

Everybody has idiots at their job, and those idiots are talked about when they leave the room. House just calls them idiots before they leave the room. But it's not about what House says; it's about what he does. He's heroic, but he doesn't care what people think. And those blue eyes don't hurt.
jobs hair wind
Directing is a very all-consuming job. What you want to do there, as you're coming down the final road, is to just sit back and enjoy and let the wind flow through your hair. When you're directing, you're sitting there going, "I need to make this shot. How many hours do we have left in the day? How many hours behind are we?" You're just constantly worried about doing the job.
