bad determined feels fix forth group happened head minimize players point sticking team throughout time veteran whether
Any time you lose, it feels bad whether it is by one point or by 20 points, ... You think about all the things that happened throughout the game. The turnovers, they are really sticking out in my head right now. Turnovers are going to happen, but we must minimize them. We must get back to the fundamentals. We have a veteran group of players on this team that has a lot of pride. We are embarrassed by the way we are playing. We put forth the effort, but we are just making too many mistakes. We need to fix these things and I am determined to fix them.
air ball efficient exciting far fun move throughout
As far as being efficient and able to move the ball in the air like we always have, I think we will be. We've been doing it in the preseason and in the minicamps. I know we can move the ball. It's going to be fun and exciting to do that throughout the season.
best bringing calling coach couple ended good ideas plays throughout today tried worked
We tried a couple of things throughout the week. It ended up with Coach Tice doing it. Coach Loney was up in the booth, calling plays down. He is always bringing up good ideas and he is the (offensive coordinator). But the best way for us today was Coach Tice calling them in. It worked for us and got us in rhythm.
next playing ready throughout
That wasn't us. It wasn't Vikings football. It isn't the way I've been playing throughout my career. We've got to be able to see the mistakes, own up to them and get ready to play a whole lot better next week.
fire wants
Every now and then I try to fire him up. He really has started to show that he wants it.
best calling coach good today worked
The best way for us today was coach Tice calling them in. It worked for us and got us a good rhythm.
push
There's swelling, and it's painful, but I'm a warrior, ... I'm going to push through this.
tight winning
Not try to make mistakes. Just try to be calm, and play winning football. Not just me. Not just the linemen. Not just the backs. Not just the tight ends. Not just the receivers. Everybody.
ball field goal hands sure trying
Not trying to do too much at one time. Make sure that I keep the ball in our hands at the end of every possession: a touchdown first or a field goal or we punt the ball to them.
determination determined fix stay
I'm determined to fix it. One thing we've got to do is stay together.
best career everybody forward good greater halftime knows looking minnesota played seven team wins
I kind of feel like, it's halftime in my career right now. Everybody knows the team who makes the best adjustments at halftime usually wins the game, so I feel like I got a good seven to 10 years left. I played seven years in Minnesota and I am looking forward to even better, greater seven years down in Miami, back home. It's great.
beating believe comment except green please stuff
I have no comment about anything except beating Green Bay, ... Please believe me that, when this stuff is resolved, I'll have something to say.
guys lay
I had to lay some guys out, ... I had to show them I'm back.
crazy far football hurt moss small wish
I never really thought it would happen. I wish he wasn't leaving. I really do. But it was out of my hands. Moss never was a negative, as far as football goes. He did his thing on the field. It was the off-the-field-stuff that was negative. But he never did anything crazy that would really hurt anybody. He would do little, small things.
