Darrell K Royalwas an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Mississippi State University, the University of Washington, and the University of Texas at Austin, compiling a career college football record of 184–60–5. I have found that the players who have played in that game really do have respect for their adversaries.
On game day, I'm as nervous as a pig in a packing plant.
The Texas-OU game is a big revenue bear. And because it's played at a neutral site, you don't have as many student body going as you would if it was home-and-home. These are full-price tickets.
Don't matter what they throw at us. Only angry people win football games.
When I was a freshman at Oklahoma in 1946, the game was sold out - and it's been sold out ever since.
You never lose a game if the opponent doesn't score.
I'm as worked up and excited for this game as I can possibly be. But I know I'm not nearly as worked up as the coaching staff. This is a tremendous match, and I think everyone agrees it's the two best teams.

I move around and play different golf courses. I just enjoy it.
