apparent game good inside mark match outside players post solely
It was apparent by the 15-minute mark that our game was going to be solely inside. The inside game we handled. Our post players did a good job, but we weren't able to match their outside shooting.
bad beat choices crucial defensive forced hit kids kim needed open player somebody
We didn't hit open shots, we forced things, we had defensive breakdowns. We made some very bad choices at the most crucial times. Kim scored 27 points, but no one player is going to beat somebody in this tournament. We needed everyone tonight, and our kids didn't do the job.
leave neither prettiest team
That wasn't the prettiest game, but it was the hardest-fought. The shoving, the pushing. Neither team wanted to leave anything on the court.
forces good great patient second
Megan was more patient in the second half. When she forces shots, it's not good for us. She's a great scorer but we need her to be patient.
reflect takes whatever
Megan and Lisa reflect our attitude. They never give up. They do whatever it takes to win.
felt former imagine
I felt really bad. As a former player, I can't imagine going through that.
last match owe prettier taking
We owe Millersville for taking the championship away from us last year. They'll match our athleticism and speed. Hopefully, we'll play prettier than we did tonight.
benefits games great last physical players post week
Our games have been pretty physical the last week or so. And this benefits us. We've got some great post players and we like the physical play.
