games middle past practice season slip
That's something we've been working on in practice end-of-game situations. We've let some games slip away and we've got to get past that. It's the middle of the season now.
earned fans good group guys last practiced
Our fans are really good, and that last group of guys practiced and earned their opportunity, too. They did a good job.
finish good great hit looks
We got some good looks at times. And then we got some great looks under the basket, and we still didn't finish it. When you can't hit shots, it's going to be a long night.
cut defense emphasized good kept lead time took work
We were up by about 25 most of the time and I didn't want to see that lead cut to 15 or 13. That was good. We kept attacking, which we've emphasized in practice. We made their defense work and we took good shots.
bigger breaks crucial fast missing played teams
Most of the teams we played were bigger than us, but we really were missing our fast breaks (during the streak). That's going to be crucial for us come sub-state.
lyndon post strong
Lyndon has some big post players, and they have really strong guards. But if we can come out and do what we need to do, we can win.

We had actually almost beaten Mill Valley a few days ago, but this win felt good. The team was really excited after the game. This is exactly what we want heading into sub-state.

We had a tough time matching up against them. They were a really athletic team.

It just comes down to hitting shots, and we weren't hitting anything tonight. That's all there is to it. We wish we could have put up a better fight.
difficult fire gotten home inside large openness
It's a very large home. There is a lot of openness inside the home -- a lot of nooks and crannies. The fire has gotten into the walls, which made it very difficult for us to fight.
concrete happened house left shame total unusual
It's a total loss. The only thing that will be left is the concrete slab. It's a shame it happened to a house this unusual and pretty.
five good hit player seemed surprise year
It seemed like all five of them were right in a row. One thing we can do this year is we have pretty good shooters. We're not going to have one player hit five threes every night, but it wouldn't surprise me if we could to that by committee.
games hopefully ourselves prepare run win
We're going to have to play well and keep getting better. We want to make a run at the end of the year, so we have to use these games to prepare ourselves for that. Hopefully we can win them in the process. We're going to go after them.
good guys hustled ice team
We were a young team this year, but it was a good year. We're better than what we showed tonight. But our guys all hustled and didn't give up. We were just ice cold.
