Daniel Eugene "Dan" DeRoseis a businessperson from Pueblo, Colorado. He is a member of the DeRose family. He owned the business DD Marketing, a business which negotiated soft drink contracts for schools. He was previously a college football player and athletic director for the Colorado State University-Pueblo. He had also played for the New York Giants in 1987 in a strike-breaking team. When you shoot like that you aren't going to have success. All season long we have relied on our defense to get us going, but in the first half we weren't making shots so we couldn't get into our press.

He just has so much potential. He's so strong he can score inside against bigger guys, but he's also probably our second-best shooter. And now that we're seeing bigger teams that's important because if he can hit a couple outside shots he'll pull those guys away from the basket.

We talked about the fact that they are a pattern offense and they like to shoot the 3 and we just let them set up and they could run their sets. One of our things is to not let teams that are systematic run their offenses. We kind of mixed up our presses. It makes you take time off the clock.
